Quel est le sujet du livre "Coeur et travail"
Comment concilier maladie cardiaque et activité professionnelle. La vie ne s'arrête pas après un accident cardiaque ! Pourtant, si le patient cardiaque vit plus longtemps et beaucoup mieux, le taux de maintien au travail, lui, n'a pas progressé en 30 ans. Il ne faut pas en rechercher la cause première dans la gravité des maladies cardiaques mais dans l'imprécision des discours et dans des facteurs psychologiques et socioprofessionnels.
Fort de ce constat, l'ensemble des intervenants dans la chaîne de décision doit agir sur plusieurs fronts : - utiliser un langage commun et maîtriser les éléments techniques et médicaux concourant à la décision de retour à la vie professionnelle; - rassurer, suivre, conseiller le patient en donnant toute sa place à l'éducation thérapeutique (ETP); - convaincre, enfi n, que le travail peut être adapté aux capacités de chacun. Il est démontré que le retour à la vie professionnelle et le maintien dans l'emploi sont doublement bénéfiques, économiquement bien sûr mais également en termes de qualité de vie. C'est tout l'intérêt de cet ouvrage collégial, soutenu par les instances scientifiques concernées, d'en avoir clairement établi la nécessité et précisé les étapes.
